I’m excited to share a meditation I channeled in one of my private groups. My intention was to help people release and ground, because people were feeling stressed, frazzled and overwhelmed. However, we went much deeper than that, which is no surprise when it comes to channeling!
We’ve all had those moments… where we find ourselves in some kind of struggle, such as sickness, financial struggles, relationship issues, or other. And when they happen we often feel resistance on some level, whether that’s feeling like why me or feeling flat out pissed off.
But when we stay stuck in that space, we prolong our struggle. And, there’s a different way of receiving and viewing our struggle.
It’s actually an opportunity to grow, to up level, to experience greater.Continue reading…

Today I want to share with you a technique I use with my private coaching clients to help you get THERE faster and with less resistance. Often we create resistance and delays by overanalyzing how we’ll get there. So let’s drop those, and try this instead!

After eight hours of yoga training the other day, I “grounded” by watching an episode of Project Runway. During this episode a talented designer, Samantha, lost the runway challenge.
The pain she wore on her face reflected more than the loss. She knew she didn’t leave it all on the runway. She held back, dumbed down, played it safe. Her losing design wasn’t something that genuinely reflected her talents as a designer.
Her immediate response was, “Self-doubt, it’s really always been the thing that’s held me back. I held back because I was scared they wouldn’t get it.”
When is the last time you blamed someone else instead of taking a look inside?
I vividly remember doing that when I was in the early stages of healing my thyroid/autoimmune condition. Looking at my doctor like he was the devil because I was not further along in my healing process. Fortunately, thanks to his awesome ways, he called me out and said he couldn’t do it alone…. I need to contribute to my own healing process.
Um… what???You mean criticizing my body for being inflamed and being angry at it for being sick wasn’t helping???
Last week I started sharing my journey of quitting sugar, and as promised here is part two. Without the information I’m sharing today, I don’t think I would have been able to survive the detox period or sustained the change. As I mentioned last week, quitting sugar gets effortless over time, but at first it’s pretty tough and requires some serious “muscles.” ☺
You can use this information to quit any kind of food. I’m talking about sugar because for me it was by far the hardest food to quit. I do believe what the experts say – that sugar is addictive. Per my Doctor’s recommendation I also quit grains and dairy while healing my Hashimoto’s hypothyroidism, and neither of them were as physically or emotionally challenging as sugar was.
Many outwardly successful, bright, beautiful women have a secret. Despite external appearances, they don’t feel good enough. That drives many of us to be overachievers, perfectionists, overly responsible, burnt out and more.
Living life this way creates internal pressure and stress. Because when our worth depends on external validation, we are only good enough when we are succeeding. It’s a joy-sucking cycle.
Today is the first day of summer, and we only have a couple of days left in Gemini season before we move into Cancer! Gemini is an air sign, which is connected to our lungs (anxiety) and heart (joy)!

Each of the songs are uplifting and most use mantras that are directly connected to opening the heart center. And of course, you can still use it when we move into Cancer (water element).
Seriously ladies, balance is a self-defeating concept that continues to elude (even torture?) women around the globe. I even believe it chips away at our self-esteem and our sense of worthiness (more on that in a moment). Today I’m encouraging you to get off the balance bandwagon >>> ditch any associated guilt trips >>> and try something else instead.
Balance has become one of those concepts we use to measure how well we’re handling life. (We may even equate balance to giving 100% to all areas of our lives?) Regardless, we don’t live in a balanced society. The nature of our lifestyles, whether you’re a stay at home mama or a boss lady (or both), pretty much guarantees a lack of balance. We’re basically set up for failure. So why do we idealize balance, and what can we do instead?
