Meditation Is Like Hosting a Cocktail Party

I commonly hear, “but my mind won’t stop,” when I lead people through meditations. We have the perception that meditation is a peaceful, enjoyable experience based on the pictures we’ve seen of people doing it. But, what’s really going on inside can be a totally different story! Unknowingly a recent meditation student gave me the perfect meditation metaphor.

Check out this week’s video, in which I share the commonalities between meditating and cocktail partying. 😉 If you’ve ever been to or hosted a cocktail party you’ve enjoyed,  you can use that as guidance during your next meditation. 🙂

P.S. I’m super excited to launch a new meditation series in March. To get on the waitlist for my meditation series, launching in March, click here.

How to Listen to What Your Body Is Telling You

Our physical issues are often messages from our bodies, letting us know there is something more than just an injury or illness going on inside. Over the last year I became an expert in decoding what my body was communicating while healing adrenal fatigue and Hashimoto hypothyroidism. In this vlog, I share three resources that you can use, including my absolute FAVORITE, to help you communicate with your body and listen to its messages.

If you have any questions, or want to share anything related to this post, feel free to comment on my Facebook page. 🙂
