Technique to Release Negativity
I’ve received a bunch of messages lately – from clients to friends to peers – inquiring about what they can do to release negativity they have been experiencing.
They’ve been triggered by one of the many (unbelievable) things going on in our world. As a result, they’re having trouble shaking the thoughts and feelings they’re having … anger, anxiety, fear, sadness, etc.
I want to give you the technique I’ve been sharing with them, that I’ve been using to stay in flow while dealing with fear and other emotions. Because, of course, I’ve been feeling it too!
I used this like crazy leading up to the days of my IVF embryo transfer, two years ago this week. 🙂 I was feeling paralyzing fear and a lot of pressure.
Prior to IVF, my MO would be something along the lines of, eff the fear. But I knew that to be in the flow with a successful IVF outcome, I had to stop resisting the fear. Because, as the saying goes, we resist persists. By resisting fear, I was basically wrestling in the mud with it. Playing at its vibrational level. I wanted to operate at a higher vibration to be a match for my desire.
So, I decided to actually allow and feel the fear, as a way of dealing with the fear. By being aware of and noticing the fear, I created distance between me and the fear. It didn’t hijack my entire being. This enabled me to stay in the flow with a successful IVF outcome.
And ironically, this approach helps release the negativity much faster than resisting it.
